ARICE Scholarship Program 2025-26

The ARICE Scholarship Program 2025-26 is now accepting applications from international students eager to pursue undergraduate, master’s, postgraduate/residency, or PhD studies in Romania. Offered by the Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE) in partnership with the Ministry of Education, this prestigious scholarship opens the door for global students to study at accredited Romanian universities.

Program Details

• Host Country: Romania

• Scholarship Type: Partially Funded (covers nearly all costs except international travel)

• Study Levels: Bachelor’s, Master’s, Residency/Postgraduate, PhD

• Language of Instruction: Romanian (includes a free 1-year preparatory Romanian language course)

• Fields of Study: All academic fields (priority for economics, business, agriculture, technical sciences, oil and gas)

• Number of Scholarships: 40

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Open to non-EU and non-EFTA citizens.

• Must have an excellent academic record.

• Must meet Romanian university admission standards.

• Must meet the entry requirements of the chosen academic program.

• Must know Romanian or complete the 1-year language course.

• Preference given to applicants from countries without cultural/education agreements with Romania.

• Completed Application Form for Scholarship in Romania (Annex 1)

• Academic diplomas (High school, Bachelor's, Master’s, or equivalent)

• Academic transcripts

• Declaration form (confirming no previous Romanian government scholarship)

• Birth certificate (photocopy + certified translation)
