The SNU Samsung Scholarship 2026 in South Korea
The SNU Samsung Scholarship 2026 in South Korea is a competitive international scholarship program jointly organized by Seoul National University (SNU) Graduate School and Samsung SDI. Known as the Samsung SDI Battery Track (SSBT) Scholarship, this program is tailored for talented Master’s and PhD students pursuing advanced studies in battery-related fields, including Materials Science, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Chemistry. This partially funded scholarship provides financial assistance for up to two years, covering tuition support and a monthly stipend during the study period. Beyond financial aid, the scholarship is structured as a work-integrated program, guaranteeing employment at Samsung SDI upon graduation. Scholars also benefit from unique academic–industry collaboration opportunities, including: Participation in innovation and idea competitions Overseas training and exchange programs Collaborative research projects with industry experts Networking and career development activities within Samsung SDI The SSBT program is more than just financial support — it is a career pathway that links higher education with industry leadership in renewable energy and secondary battery technologies.
