Description
Aimable Nyishimirente is a PhD student in Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida (UF). Before joining UF, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Development Research (ZEF) in Bonn, Germany. He holds a double-degree Master’s in Agricultural and Food Economics from Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium and the University of Bonn in Germany, supported by the AFEPA Erasmus Mundus scholarship program. His academic journey also includes undergraduate studies in Turkey and Poland. Aimable’s professional interests lie at the intersection of agrifood systems sustainability, food and nutrition security, human and planetary health, and sustainable development.
